You exercise for a solid one or two hours daily, you consume the right foods, you sleep well, and everything else seems to be in perfectly place – but why aren’t you seeing any improvements in your body?
There’s one thing you seem to be missing out on my friend. And that is: intensity!
If There’s No Intensity, There’s No Gain
Hitting the gym without performing each exercise with the required intensity is pretty much the same as surfing in shallow waters. Until and unless you hit the gym “hard” and push through to the absolutely insane levels of workout, you can’t expect to gain success; implying that you actually want success.
The Pain Barrier Must Be Broken
Pardon me for sounding like a broken record, but if there’s no pain, there’s no gain. You must progressively increase the intensity of all your workouts so as to make sure your body learns to adapt to pain and gradually adjusts itself to the increasing overload. If you don’t plan on doing so, then pack your bags and go home; we don’t need another slacker around here!
